100th Anniversary Celebration

St. John's Lutheran Church will be celebrating her 100th anniversary on Saturday, June 25, 2016 and Sunday, June 26, 2016. Please join us in celebrating "100 Years of Abiding in Christ's Love". Our scripture verse for the celebration is I John 3:23-24 "And this is his commandment, that we believe in the name of his Son Jesus Christ and love one another, just as he has commanded us. Whoever keeps his commandments abides in God, and God in him. And by this we know that he abides in us, by the Spirit whom he has given us."

If you have memories you would like to share, please send them to Pastor Mars ( If you are able to join us, please send an email to Pastor Mars to assist us in food preparation planning.

St. John's Lutheran, Kimball

As a congregation redeemed by the saving grace of Jesus Christ, St. John's Lutheran Church's mission is to bring glory to God by proclaiming the gospel message of salvation through Christ to those in our community, our nation, and our world. Through the means of faithful preaching and teaching, the administration of the sacraments, and by diligent pastoral care, congregational members are thereby equipped for works of loving service accomplished at home and abroad.

We are served by Pastor Kenneth Mars

Holy Communion is celebrated each Sunday for confirmed members of the Lutheran Church--Missouri Synod.

Witness, Mercy, Life Together

These phrases illustrate how the church lives and works together to proclaim the Gospel and to provide for our brothers and sisters in Christ in our congregations, communities and throughout the world.
And in all we do, Christ is at the center, leading us, sustaining us, keeping us focused on our mission. This will never change. Learn more at Emphasis for the Church.

Mercy, Witness, Life

Life Together
